Each year the Division of Anatomy host Anatomy Outreach Days in early May, inviting high school groups to visit our cadaver labs for an unforgettable experience. In 2022 we expanded our programming to include the use of 5 laboratory spaces, each with its own set of activities and stations focused on the different body systems. This hands-on experience allows students to add context to their anatomy knowledge, to learn about healthy vs. Unhealthy tissues, and to meet our experienced Anatomy Outreach Team members.
MD Camp, sponsored by The Ohio State University Area Health Education Center, is an intensive, three-week summer day camp providing participants an experience in the rigors of medical school. MD Camp students will have the opportunity to shadow clinicians and researchers at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. By the end of MD Camp, students will have a greater grasp of what a career in medicine is like and how to go about becoming a successful physician.
Our student-led group brings hands-on anatomy, health, and ultrasound education directly to your classroom through interactive demonstrations and age-appropriate learning activities. By combining clinical tools with engaging teaching, we aim to spark curiosity in science, promote health literacy, and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.
